💬 A Personal Check-In
For me, June has felt like one big pressure cooker.
As many of you know, I’ve stepped deeper into the role of caring for elder family members, and recently took on full responsibility for my Uncle, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s dementia.
While I’m incredibly grateful that he’s now been accepted into a memory support care facility, the journey to get there was heavy. It’s been confronting, emotionally overwhelming, and soul-stretching to make major life decisions on someone else’s behalf.
I’ve had solid support from Mum and Peter — both helping in their own beautiful way — and I’ve come to realise just how much I’ve grown in being able to ask for help and actually receive it. (Turns out I’m not quite as invincible as I once thought. 😉)
So if you’re in a similar place — navigating change, responsibility, or emotional overwhelm — I see you. And Spirit does too.
